How To Master Masterbation

The Wednesday, November 12, 2008

First (and only) sleep of the trip! Everyone has benefited except Anne-Sophie and Ms. Garet who had to go to the deliberations of the National High Schoolers Prix Goncourt. A morning without any major events except an interview with Maxence Bilodeau for a story that would make the joy of the families remained in Quebec.

Meanwhile, Anne-Sophie Voyer deliberates and Mrs. Garet back to the hotel.

Around 11:30, everyone goes to The mug, which will be announced the winner of the Prix Goncourt novel High Schoolers. The announcement was made to wait while everyone falls silent and watches television every time the Goncourt is mentioned only to understand that we must wait another half hour. The laws of direct force: indeed, the news is broadcast on the French national network!

Impatience.

Finally, there it is: we talk about the price. A roar goes up from our table while we learn that Anne-Sophie was elected president of the jury. She announced that the novel A bright future Catherine Cusset won the Prix Goncourt High Schoolers 2008. Then it descends to give interviews. And more interviews. And yet more interviews. The new national star of Quebec finally break free, and we move a not perky to the Hotel de Ville. Can we do it a second time for Mr Bilodeau who wants more images for his reporting.

Everyone crowded into the ballroom (it's nice), people speak (that long), Anne-Sophie also speaks (we're happy). After breakfast buffet, Anne-Sophie and Ms. Garet leave by train to press while the rest of the group visited an exhibition on King Arthur. It's disappointing and a little child.

Highlight of the visit, eight young adults sit in a semicircle in front of a TV who listen religiously extracts Monty Python And The Holy Grail . All world keeps in mind to rent the movie to return.

We eat on the run (everything is closed! Why is everything closed? Because the lunch hour has passed, just!) And we take the TGV back to Paris. We're tired and most people are asleep.

In return, we again commend Anne-Sophie and she tells how she became a great friend of the daughter of Catherine Cusset Gallimard during the reception that she attended with Ms. Garet. We're exhausted, we eat (Janie still ecstatic about a dessert) and go to bed.
